CAREER GUIDANCE
(Grade 11's, 12's and post matric)
If you want to see your career moving in the right direction, Career Guidance is of the utmost importance.

Holland (1985) explains the job choice process by arguing that as a person grows up he learns different ways in dealing with and adjusting to the world. When he then has to make a career decision he looks for job situations which match his knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. A person also looks for a job that matches his personality and abilities. In other words, a career choice is essentially the selection of the best available option in terms of what the person knows and what he considers important in life.

If people find themselves in work or social situations that match their preferences, they are likely to be happier and more motivated to succeed than if there is a mismatch between the demands of the situation and the person's preferred behaviour.
